Naveen is an Enterprise Lean-Agile Coach and Certified Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), has multiple years of product development experience, and has worked with many organizations in different roles, from developer to delivery head. He has consulted organizations in large-scale agile adoption to become agile, reduce time to market, and respond to change faster. Being an early agile developer, Naveen teaches the development team and organizations about DevOps culture, methods, and tools. Most organizations need help executing product discovery and delivery parallelly. They end up having a mini waterfall practice where the product owner hands over requirements to the design team to develop a mockup or wireframe in advance. Once these are approved, they are delivered to the development team for building and delivery.

Dual-track agile allows both tracks, discovery, and delivery, to happen concurrently. It only requires that the Discovery Team not fully define all product backlog items before the Delivery Team can begin its development work. The entire process is collaborative and nonlinear, involving team members working together throughout. The advantages of dual-track agile include better ROI and less wastage. In this session, I will share how we incorporated this practice to reduce time-to-market and bring agility to our product discovery.
